Sacred Tea Ceremonies in St. Petersburg, Tampa & Sarasota

sacred tea ceremony

Sacred Tea Ceremony is a journey into the Heart.

We come together and sit in silence as we connect to the ways of the ancients. Each bowl of tea gently guides us into a meditative softening, an opening to our inner realms.

Through this space that Tea creates we are able to listen, to truly hear our Highest Selves.

The leaves used in our tea ceremonies are extremely unique in that they are all organic and come from, wild, old growth trees and plants that are sustainably grown and harvested by farmers who love, respect, and understand the power of this medicine.

Living Tea, as it is known in my tradition, has the power to cleanse, purify, ground and heal the Spirit, and when treated as ancient medicine, will guide us to subtle areas within that will be gently healed and processed. Qi is balanced and with each ceremony we are born anew.

This is a holistic experience balancing the physical, mental and spiritual bodies with each sit.

Tea found me while I was living abroad in Taiwan. I had the great fortune of studying with Internationally recognized Tea Master, Wu De, of Global Tea Hut, and many many other great teachers in Taiwan, China, and the USA.

My greatest teacher of all has been the Leaf and my own Heart. The countless hours that I have sat and communed with this great and healing plant spirit and the wisdom she has shared with me in Sacred.

I currently offer sacred tea ceremonies in St. Petersburg, Tampa, Sarasota and other areas of Florida.

“Tea is an act complete in its simplicity.
When I drink tea, there is only me and the tea.
The rest of the world dissolves.
There are no worries about the future.
No dwelling on past mistakes.
Tea is simple: loose-leaf tea, hot pure water, a cup.
I inhale the scent, tiny delicate pieces of the tea floating above the cup.
I drink the tea, the essence of the leaves becoming a part of me.
I am informed by the tea, changed.
This is the act of life, in one pure moment, and in this act the truth of the world suddenly becomes revealed: all the complexity, pain, drama of life is a pretense, invented in our minds for no good purpose.
There is only the tea, and me, converging."

-Thich Nhat Hanh
